New England Patriots took advantage of interceptions from two Bills players to seal a come-from-behind 21-18 victory and win a seventh successive Monday Night Football game.
The Bills led 18-7 at half-time, but had the momentum for most of the second half after Tyler Boyd’s interception set up an Ian Sadler score.
In the final minute, Ron Brooks picked off a bad pass by Tom Brady and set up a three-point lead to ensure a nervy finish.
But Brady moved the ball down the field to set up an eventual Stephen Gostkowski kick.
It was a thrilling performance, which included a fantastic 53-yard pass from Brady to Julian Edelman in the final minute, while running back LeSean McCoy scored twice for the Bills and was influential.
For the Patriots it was a third win in three games and moves them up to second place in the AFC East.
Meanwhile the Giants defeated the Cowboys 23-20 in a game played in San Francisco because of a gridlocked New York traffic system.
In Sunday night’s early kick-off, the Philadelphia Eagles overcame the Vikings, their closest divisional rivals, 42-24.
There were also wins for the Packers over Washington and the Seahawks over the Chargers.
