Norwegian Cruise Line will only accept Omicron tickets for 4 days in a row

The Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that it will not book tickets for all inbound Scandinavian and Baltic cruises from 9 p.m. Monday, April 23 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, April 25 for all employees and guests, a move prompted by the Norwegian M/S Omicron.

“This decision will help our company maintain a safe and efficient work environment, as well as prioritize safety ahead of everything else,” said Simeon Currier, president and CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. “If you do not have your [Cayman Islands] tickets by Wednesday morning, please hold them in your safe storage while you wait. We apologize for any inconvenience and inconveniences caused by this change.”

Norwegian Cruise Line Line is teaming up with the cruise booking website cruisetourist.com to refund the difference between the cruise fare and ticket price, if you have not booked by Wednesday morning. If you do not want to purchase travel insurance, you can stop by one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s five US bookstores, call them directly at 1-800-388-6580 or look up their travel insurance policy by searching travelinsurance.org.
